This weekend, all roads lead to Lugogo MTN Arena as Sparks Boxing Academy takes center stage at the Uganda Champions League Season 4, Week 16, on November 29th. The academy, a powerhouse in amateur and professional boxing, is set to put on a thrilling show with three of its top boxers in action.
In the light welterweight (63.5kg) youth category, Ochama Destiny will face off against Nasasira Moses from Kyengera. Destiny, known for his stylish and fast play, is a force to be reckoned with and is looking to make a statement in his quest for the finals.

In the same weight category, Mwenda Joshua, Africa’s number one, will clash with Mwesigwa Richard from Lukanga Boxing Club. Mwenda, who won gold at the African Boxing Tournament in Ghana earlier this year, is expected to bring his A-game and make Sparks Boxing Academy proud.
The battle for supremacy will also see Musulube Stephan take on Sekaza Drogba from Kololo in another highly anticipated bout.
“We are ready for this,” said Head Coach Skillz Kalungi. “Our boys have been training hard, and we expect a great show from them. We are looking forward to the finals in December, and this is a crucial step towards our goal.”
Sparks Boxing Academy, a big name in Ugandan boxing, will be represented by a talented team, backed by a strong coaching staff, including Coaches Solo, Felix, and Regan.
Boxing enthusiasts are in for a treat as these top contenders battle it out for a spot in the finals, scheduled for Boxing Day in December. The excitement is building, and Sparks Boxing Academy is poised to make their mark.
